Social Skills
Social skills groups can be a powerful opportunity for children who may struggle with different interpersonal skills such as; reciprocal communication (receptive/expressive), and interpreting nonverbal communication (body language, eye-contact, facial expressions). Social skills are a fundamental component of childhood development. The advantages of developed social skills increase the opportunity to grow and maintain friendships, efficiently communicate needs, navigate challenging situations, and increase self-esteem.
In our Social Skills group, your child will receive natural opportunities to improve their conversational, friendship, and problem-solving skills. Through our interactive and professionally guided approach, it is our hope that your child will begin to feel more confident and successful within their social abilities.
Each group will be tailored based on specific need areas.

Anxiety Management
Is your child struggling with anxiety? On the surface, anxiety can manifest in a multitude of forms including; avoidance, irritability, lack of focus, and sleep issues. However, there are many underlying symptoms. Below the surface, your child may be experiencing; automatic negative thinking, uncontrollable feelings of worry, racing thoughts, and physical symptoms.

Through a cognitive behavioral therapy approach, your child will learn how to identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to anxiety. We will introduce effective coping skills, utilize stress management techniques, and mindfulness practices. By increasing these skills, your child will build confidence to managing their own anxiety.

Executive Functioning
Does your child seem to consistently become overwhelmed with the amount of homework they have? Do they struggle with flexible thinking or self-control? If so, they might benefit from an executive functioning coaching group.
Executive functions are the set of self-management skills responsible for selecting and successfully monitoring behaviors that facilitate the attainment of chosen goals.
In our Executive Functioning group, we will train our brains to improve mental processes like; planning, task initiation, time-management, follow multi-step directions, attention control, and control impulses. By exploring and identifying different management strategies that work best for your child, we hope our group will lead to better performance in school, work and life!
Smaller groups may be provided as children may require a more individualized approach.

Growth Mindset
Does your child lack confidence in their abilities? Do they give up on hard tasks easily? Your child may benefit from a Growth Mindset group.
A growth mindset is the belief that the most basic abilities can be developed through dedication and hard work—brains and talent are just the starting point.
In our Growth Mindset group, we will establish coping strategies to re-frame negative thought patterns, learn and set SMART goals, and embrace the challenges we are confronted with while maintaining a positive mindset.
